David Arbeit
David Arbeit is director of the Office of Geographic and Demographic
Analysis, a division of the Minnesota Department of Administration. As GDA Director, he oversees programs of the Land Management Information Center, the
State Demographer, the State Archaeologist, and the Environmental Quality Board.
David holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering and master's and doctoral
degrees in Regional Planning from Cornell University. He has worked with
geospatial technologies for more than 30 years as an educator, researcher and
practitioner. David has served on many council committees and has been an
ex-officio member since 1994. He is currently very active on the Strategic Planning Committee.
