Mark Sloan
Mark Sloan serves as the GIS Coordinator for Clay County. The primary
goal of Clay County GIS is to reduce duplication, increase productivity and
enhance decision making capabilities. Additionally, public access to data is
a priority. Mark has also served as Chair of the Metropolitan GIS Committee
since 1992; this multi-jurisdictional group was formed to encourage and
facilitate the sharing of geographic information (electronic mapping data)
and to guide the development of GIS throughout the metropolitan area in a
consistent manner. Mark is a GIS Certified Professional, a designation
awarded by the GIS Certification Institute.
